Johnny Delaney, Caheroyan Road, Athenry, Co.Galway.

Peacefully on the 9 th April 2026, aged 93 years.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Nora, sisters Mary, Cissie, Nora and Kitty and brother Paddy.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Mary, sons John and Gerard, daughter in-law Orla, grandsons Jamie, Liam and Patrick, Jamie’s wife Helen, great-grandchildren, brother Willie, sister Peggy, brother in-law Sean, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Sunday 12 th April from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry for Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on the Parish radio 106.5fm.
