The death has occurred of
Johnny Gilchrist
Johnny passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his baby daughter Jane, brothers Joe and Dan, his sister Kitty, grandsons Danny, David, Joey and Shane, his grand daughter Maria and son in-law Cyril.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife Maura, sons Michael and David, daughters Bridget, Mary and Majella, sisters Ann, Mary and Bridie, sons in-law Francis and Dermot, daughters in-law Trisha and Edel, brother in-law Donal, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
May Johnny's gentle soul Rest in Peace
Johnny will be reposing at his home in Glenview, Sunday 6th October from 3pm till 7pm. House private thereafter. Removal Monday 7th October to St. Michael's Church, Castlepollard, arriving for 11 o'clock funeral mass. Burial afterwards to St. Michael's cemetery, Castlepollard.
The family would like to thank Dr. Emma O'Hara and Dr. Willy, The Public Health Nurses, The Pallative Care Team, all our relatives, neighbours, and friends, and the doctors and nurses at Mullingar Midlands Regional Hospital for their continuous care and support.
