Johnny HAYES

HAYES – Johnny (Blackrock), March 12th 2024, peacefully, at home, with his family, after a courageous battle with M.N.D.; cherished husband and best friend of Vanessa, adored father of Blake and brother of Marcus, Owen and Jamie; son of the late John and Joan (Hayes). Loved and remembered always by his family, step-daughters Charlotte and Daisy, sister-in-law Leonie, nephews Marcus, Jack and Ryan, niece Danielle, the wider Hamilton and Hayes families and his many, many friends and his Sean Chairde golf family. He will be so sorely missed, in particular by his colleagues at John Hayes Cars.

 

Enormous thanks and gratitude to the I.M.N.D.A., Blackrock Hospice and Dr Micheál O Tighearnaigh for their never-ending support.

 

 

Johnny will be at home on Monday (March 18) from 3pm to 6pm – you are welcome to join us. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (March 19) at 10am in Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion, afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. (Johnny specifically requested everyone to wear a splash of colour at the funeral).
