Johnny (John) Strahan
Johnny (John) Strahan, Hillview Drive, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow, 5th April 2025. Peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Ciss (Julia), and loving father of Brenda, Eileen, Geraldine, Paula and Anne. Brother of Jim and the late Mick, Har, Mary and Elizabeth. Sadly missed by his partner Jean and her family, his 9 grandchildren, sons-in-law George, Paul and Derek, Anne’s partner Mark, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Killaveney, Tinahely (Y14 DA52) on Sunday from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his home on Monday to St. Brigid’s Church, Hacketstown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Hacketstown cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.hacketstownparish.ie.
