Johnny May

Passed away peacefully after spending a few months in hospital.

Beloved husband of Breda and cherished father of Barry and Alica. Dearly missed father-in-law of Sara and proud grandfather of Joe and Sofia. Much-loved brother to Ailis, Marian, Una and Kathryn, whose support were a great comfort throughout his illness. Valued brother-in-law to Seán and Michael and fondly missed by his nephews.

Johnny will be remembered for his kind nature, quiet strength and dry wit. He faced his illness with courage and dignity, surrounded by his family’s love. His gentle humour and steady presence will always remain in our hearts.

Reposing at Ryan’s Funeral Home Ashbourne (A84 CX52) from 5pm to 7pm next Tuesday evening. Removal on Wednesday morning to The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Ashbourne arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am (live stream) followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
