Johnny McQuaid

The death has occurred of Johnny Mc Quaid, Moybridge, Emyvale, Co Monaghan. Thursday 24th December, peacefully at his residence.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Beloved husband of Rita and cherished dad to Eugene, Mary, Sean, Verona, Gerard, Martin, Paul, Albert, Breda and Noel and to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Johnny will be deeply missed by his brother Fr Macartan and sister Gertie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and extended family and friends.

Johnny remains will repose at his family residence at Moybridge, strictly private to family only. 

Johnny’s remains will leave Moybridge to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickroe for funeral mass at 2pm on Saturday 26th December. Burial afterwards in Ballyoisin Cemetery. Please note, Johnny's Funeral Mass will be streamed live on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/church-of-the-sacred-heart-2 .

In accordance with government guidelines and in the interest of public health, Johnny’s house, funeral and burial will be private. Anyone wishing to pay their respects, may do so along the route as Johnny’s funeral cortège travels from the family home to the church and from the church back to his final resting place in Ballyoisin. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times.
