Johnny O'Connell
The death has taken place of Johnny O'Connell, Knockeenahone, Scartaglen. Peacefully, on the 7th of October 2022, in the excellent care of the staff at the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry, surrounded by his loving family. Johnny will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen (nee Buckley, Ballydesmond), children Seamus (Killorglin), Mary (Buckley, Abbeyfeale), Sean (Scartaglen), Ita (McNamara, Galway), grandchildren Aoibh, Eoin, Liam, Darragh, Orlaith, Clodagh, Keeva, Saidbh, Olan and Cuan, daughter-in-law Pauline, sons-in law Padraig and Adrian, brothers Denny, Fr. Jim and Timmy, sisters Susie, Nora Mai and Sr, Bridie (RIP), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing in Daly's Funeral Home, Scartaglen, on Sunday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday in The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen, at 12 noon. Burial in Scartaglen Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu, to the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.
