Johnny Ward

Johnny passed away peacefully on the 6th. January, 2022 in the wonderful care of the staff at St. David's Nursing Home, Gentian Hill, Galway; Beloved husband of the late Maureen and much loved father of Joe, Mike and Marion. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his sons and daughter, his sister Queenie, daughters-in-law Eilis and Kerry, grandchildren Jana, Keelan, Elva, Cronan, Joey and Cathal, nieces and nephews, the extended family, neighbours and many wonderful friends.

Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue on Monday, 10th January from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.  Removal on Tuesday, 11th January to Galway Cathedral via Ward's Shop University Road to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.  Live-streaming link for Mass on https://www.galwaycathedral.ie/webcam. Funeral after Mass to the new Cemetery, Bohermore.

A 'Walk-Through' system is in place at the funeral parlour in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19.  Please maintain social distancing, wear a mask and refrain from shaking hands.  Thank you.
