The death has occurred of
Joseph AHERNE
AHERNE, Ballineen, on September 29th 2024, at his residence, Knockaneady, Ballineen. JOSEPH (Joe) formerly of Kippagh, Drinagh and New Zealand. Beloved husband of the late Rhona, (nee MacKenzie), (interred in New Zealand). Deeply regretted by his sons Michael and David, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his beloved sister Noreen (Hennessy), brother-in-law Brendan, adored nieces especially Denise and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by his brothers Neil and Mike, sisters Kay and Eileen.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at O'Mahony's Funeral Home, Enniskeane on Thursday evening from 7.00pm until prayers at 8.00 pm Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane followed by burial after in the adjoining cemetery.
