The death has occurred of
Joseph (Bennie) KILMARTIN
Joseph (Bennie) Kilmartin,
Stonestown, Cloghan, Offaly.
Joseph, who was fondly known as Bennie died on March 30th 2026, peacefully with his family in the loving care of the staff at Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Francie, and grandsons Christopher James and Brodie.
Bennie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, sons Aidan, John, Frankie and Desmond, daughters, Marie, Josephine and Theola, sister Miriam, grandchildren, great-grandson, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Grant Bennie Eternal Rest and Peace
Bennie will repose in Grennan's Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Tuesday evening (March 31st) from 5pm to 7pm.
(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church car park (R42 E642)
Bennie's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 1st) at 11am in St. Rynagh's Church, Banagher, and may be viewed on http://www.cloghanbanagherparish.ie also broadcast locally on Church Radio 106.6FM.
Bennie will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Rynagh's Cemetery.
