Joseph Donovan (Joe) Pheifer M.A. (DUBL., OXON.), B.LITT. (OXON.), F.T.C.D. Emeritus of Kilternan, Dublin 18, died on 17th October, 2025, peacefully at home, in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Shelagh, darling father of Lucy, Nick, Hugh and Katie, adored Granpa of Alexander, Emma, Ysabel, Ben, Samuel, James, Emily, Hannah, Hugo, Joseph and Milly, fondly remembered by his daughters-in-law Miranda and Geraldine and by his nieces and nephews in the USA and UK.
Reposing at his daughter’s home on Monday (20th October) from 4.00pm-7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (21st October) at 11.00am in the Church of Our Lady of the Wayside, Kilternan followed by burial in Kilternan Church of Ireland Churchyard. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to St. Joseph’s Shankill.
