Joseph Geoghegan

On 24 May, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his family, Joe passed away in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway Hospice.

 

Pre-deceased by his late wife Rena, his brother Seanie and sisters Mamie and Clare.

 

Joe will be very sadly missed by his sons John and Jarlath, and their families Suzanne and Troy, and Grainne and Ciara, his brothers and sisters Paddy, Brendan, Brian, Teresa, Ann and Tony, sisters-in-law Mary and Helen, brother-in-law Tommy, his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Joe will repose at home at 22 Davis Road, Shantalla on Monday 27 May, 2024 from 5 to 6:30p.m. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Joe the following morning, Tuesday 28, May 2024 on arrival to The Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway for 11 a.m. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Rena in Rahoon Cemetery.
