Joseph Hammersley

Hammersley, Joseph October 22nd 2025, (Monagreana, Co. Wexford, formerly of Portmarnock and Limerick), died peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at SignaCare Nursing Home, Bunclody. Beloved husband of Dolores, and loving Dad of Morgan, Daniel and Olga. Very sadly missed by daughters-in-law Edel and Jenny, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Shona, Oliver, Joseph, Maeve, Eoin, Izzy and Luke. Pre-deceased by his sisters Anne and Betty. Deeply regretted by his sisters Mary, Susan and Oonagh, brother-in-law Rusty, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Portmarnock on Friday afternoon 24th October 2025 from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of St. Anne’s Portmarnock arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium at 1.30pm
