Joseph (Joe) Birrane

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) Birrane, Carhue, Kilbehenny, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.

On December 21st, 2025, Joe passed away unexpectedly at his residence, Carhue, Kilbehenny.

Joe will be sadly missed by his loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, kind neighbours, relatives, large circle of friends. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Maggie, his brothers and sisters.

Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Kilbehenny (Eircode P67 PK74), on Tuesday, December 23rd, from 5.30pm to 7.00pm, followed by Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Kilbehenny.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday, December 24th, at 11.00am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining church grounds.
