Joseph (Joe) Galvin

GALVIN (Cork & Caherdaniel, Co. Kerry): On November 20th, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Cork University Hospital, JOSEPH (Joe), Summerstown, Wilton, (late of Telecom Eireann and Founder Member of St. Gabriel’s Credit Union), dearly loved husband of Phyl (Phyllis née Minihane), and the late Cora Hallihan, much loved father of Eileen, Catherine, Patrick and Deirdre.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, daughter-in-law Sinéad, sons-in-law Ivan and Tony, grandchildren Josh, Olivia, Grace, Dylan, Benjamin, Karl and Harry, great-granddaughter Ivory, sister-in-law Carmel, brother-in-law Joe, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Friday (November 22nd) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Saturday (November 23rd) in St. Joseph’s S.M.A Church, Wilton which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd.
