Joseph (Joe) Hughes

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Joseph (Joe) Hughes, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on 17th June 2024. Late of 15 Oakgrove and formerly of Cabra in Co. Dublin.

May he rest in peace.

Beloved partner of Rosaleen. Loving father of Trevor. A much loved brother of Billy. Dear friend of Sean. Dearest brother-in-law of Ann. Loving papa of Claire and her daughter Ava. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends.

Joe’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty Funeral Home and Chapel of Rest. His remains will leave from there on Thursday, 20th June, at 11:20am for 12pm Requiem Mass in St. Brigid's Church, Carnhill. Joe's Cremation Service will then take place on Friday, 21st June, at 2pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the McClafferty Funeral Home and Chapel of Rest from 7pm until 9pm this evening, Tuesday, 18th June, and from 7pm until 9pm tomorrow evening, Wednesday, 19th June.
