Joseph (Joe) O'Byrne

Joseph (Joe) O’Byrne (Santry, Dublin 9; formerly of Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin 7 and 30 years with the Irish Times) passed away peacefully April 17th, 2025 surrounded by his family (pre-deceased by his loving wife Maura). Joe will be sadly missed by his sons Colm, Michael & Joey, daughter Ruth, daughters-in-law Sarah and Amy, son-in-law Gabriel. Grandad will also be deeply missed by his grandkids Shauna, Aislinn-Rose, Ciara and Aidan, sister-in-law Ann, nieces Helen and Aideen, nephew Conor, relatives, friends and neighbours. Special thanks to his devoted carer Maria and to the wonderful caring staff at Beaumont Hospital.

Reposing at home from 6pm to 8pm Friday April 18th. Joe’s Funeral Service will take place at 11am Saturday morning in The Chapel of Blessed Margaret Ball, Santry Dublin 9. Cremation service to follow at Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only, please.
