Joseph (Joe) Rafter

RAFTER (Blanchardstown, Dublin and formerly of Mulhuddart, Dublin) April 9th 2026 peacefully in the arms of his loving family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown after a long illness bravely borne. Joseph (Joe), beloved father of Eilís, Aoife and Joseph, forever best friend and husband of Susan, much loved and cherished grandfather of Kaiden and Jacob, son of the late Louie and Martha, dear brother of Teresa, Christine, Christopher, Peter, Mary, Lucia and Joan. Sadly missed by his loving family, Joseph’s partner Elisa, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown on Monday evening (April 13th) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown on Tuesday morning (April 14th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
