Joseph (Joe) Storey,

March 12th 2026, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Ex Garda Síochána.

Dearly loved husband of Vera and father of Caroline (Armstrong), Raymond, Patrick and Moira (Tierney). He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, brothers Willie, Martin and George, sons-in-law Eddie Armstrong, Gerry Tierney and Andrew Russell, daughter-in-law Margaret, cherished grandchildren David, Lauren, Keara, Ciarán, Padraig, Ronán, Chloe, Emma and Conor, great-grandchildren Noah, Elliott and Fiadh, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Sunday, March 15th from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Saint Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, March 16th at 11am and will be livestreamed via https://www.churchtv.ie/stjosephschurch/ Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
