Joseph (Joe) Wallace
WALLACE, Joseph (Joe), Main Street, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Carraroe, Co Galway. Ex An Post. 21st May 2021, (peacefully) at Roscommon University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brothers Michael, Padraig and Sean, and his sisters Monica and Mary. Joe will be sadly missed by his wife Breege (née McLoughlin), son Colm (Claremorris), daughter Rena (Farrell, Castlerea), grandchildren Peter, Emma, Ciara, David, John, Nina, Mark and Amy , great-grandson Charlie, daughter-in-law Olive, son-in-law David, extended family, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Due to Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect the most vulnerable in our community a private family funeral will take place. Joe’s funeral cortége will leave his family home at 1.30pm on Monday afternoon to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm. Burial afterward in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
The funeral Mass will be live-streamed via Gaynor Funeral Directors Facebook page and can be viewed on Monday afternoon from 1.45pm by clicking HERE.
