Joseph (Josie or Joe) O’Shaughnessy, Balrobuckmore, Corrandulla, Co. Galway, 7th December 2024, in his ninety first year, peacefully at Clarinbridge Care Centre surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Philomena, his family, Gerard, Joe, Yvonne, Damien, Dolores and Colm, their spouses Jacquie, Sinead, David, Katherine, David and Cora, grandchildren Adam, Zara, Nathan, Amy, Luke, Teaghan, Kayleigh, Tadhg, Joshua, Erin, Isabella, Cillian and Cáit, brothers Mattie (Balrobuckmore) and John James (Carnmore), sisters Delia May (Gort), Eileen (Loughrea) and Ann (Claregalway), extended family, neighbours and his many friends. Josie is pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Delia, brother Brendan and sister Kathleen.

Reposing at Corrandulla Mortuary Chapel (H91 HN83) on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church Corrandulla (H91 HN83) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Annaghdown Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/corrandulla and broadcast on parish radio.
