Joseph McNamara

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) McNamara, Aqueduct House, Clonbrin, Abbeyshrule, Co. Longford. Joe passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 1st. 2022, surrounded by his beloved family at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, aged 84 years. Joe is predeceased by his father Joe, mother Mary, his brothers Peter and Pat, and his sisters Nancy, Lily, Evelyn and Chrissie. Deeply loved and missed by his devoted wife Winnie, sons John and Robert, and daughters Fiona and Paula. His grandchildren Jessica, Sarah, Declan, Christopher, Bronwyn, Casey, John, Kerry, Conor and Fiona, his daughters-in-law Linda and Angela, sons-in-law Declan and Billy, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Joe will repose at the family home, Aqueduct House, on Wednesday, March 2nd, from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.  House Strictly Private at all other times. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 3rd March, at 12.00 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Abbeyshrule. Burial afterwards in Abbeyshrule Cemetery.
