O’SULLIVAN (Cork) On 2nd February 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff in St. Catherine’s Ward, Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, JOSEPH, Cork city and late of Ballydonegan, Allihies.

Sadly missed by his loving family Br. Rupert (Anthony), Finbar, Mary, Gearoid and Noel, Aunt Ita, niece Caitriona, nephews Gary and Tommy, sisters-in-law Maureen and Annette, brother-in-law Liam, cousins, friends both in Sunday’s Well and more recently the Share Community, Cork.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Thursday (5th February) at 10.00am, family in attendance from 6.00pm with Rosary at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (6th February) at 1.00pm in Presentation Brothers Mount St. Joseph, Blarney Street. Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Mercy Hospital Foundation, Marymount Hospice or Share.

The family would sincerely like to thank the medical staff at Gurranabraher Medical Centre, the Mercy University Hospital, Marymount Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Joseph during his illness.

A Memorial Mass and burial of Ashes will be held in Allihies Church at a future date.
