BENNETT, Josephine (née Carmody), of Rathmines, Dublin (formerly of Athlacca, Co. Limerick).

Passed unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep at her home on Wednesday, 4th. March, 2026. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Margaret, her sister Bríd, her sister-in-law Elizabeth and brother-in-law Michael.

Deeply loved and very sadly missed by her husband Anthony, her children Margaret, Pat, Michael and Ita, her grandchildren Órla, Finn, Umi and Joe, her sisters Mary, Peg, Monica, Sheila and Betty and her brothers John and Bill.

Fondly remembered by her son-in-law Murray, daughter-in-law Akiyo, sisters-in-law Mary, Yvonne, Mary, Margaret and Maria, brothers-in-law Dave, Finnbar, Ed, Joe, John and Richard, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, friends, fellow parishioners and neighbours.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street on Sunday, 8th March, from 3pm until 5pm, with family in attendance. Requiem Mass on Monday, 9th. March, at 11.30am in Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines. Funeral thereafter to Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery, Portlaoise arriving at 2pm approx.
