On Tuesday, 8 October 2024 Josephine died peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Micheál and dearly loved mother of Aideen, Louis, Ken, Raymond and Fergus. She will be remembered with love and sadly missed by her children and their families; son-in-law Edmund, daughters-in-law Anne, Jackie, Cepta and Sinéad, sisters Daisy and Gaye, brother Alfie, grandchildren Damian, Joanne, Amy, Niall, Eddie, Michael, Rebecca, Louis, Ailbhe, Ali, Evan, Síofra, Anna, Kate and Ruth. Fondly remembered by Liadhan and Pat, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) on Thursday, 10 October, from 4.30 p.m. Arriving at St. Mary’s Church, The Claddagh (H91 CD36) Galway at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Josephine on Friday, 11 October, at 11 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore.
