The death has occurred of
Josephine Canning
(née Lynch)
Josephine passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday 26th January in the care of St. Joseph's Ward UCHG, surrounded by her family.
She is deeply missed by her loving husband Séan, children Seamus, Deirdre (Mitchell), Francis, David, Oliver, Ivan and Joseph, son-in-law Micheál, daughters-in-law Maura, Fiona, Caroline, Áine, Treeny and Joe's fiancé Meg, her seventeen adored grandchildren, brothers Tom, PJ and Kieran, sisters Marie (Cahill), Kitty (Kenny) and Bridie (Colleran), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Josephine will repose on Friday 28th January in the new funeral home, Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 29th January at 11am in St Brigid's Church, Portumna (H53 KF51).

Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Calvary Cemetery, Portumna.
Please note face masks must be worn and hand gel in keeping with current public health guidelines.
