Josephine Fay (nee Sexton) Cavan Road, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan and formerly Cavan Town, Thursday, December 10th, 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the staff at St. Christopher's Hospice, Cavan. Predeceased by her loving partner, Robert Gilmore. Devoted mother of Cliona and Sonya. Josephine will be very sadly missed by her daughters and their partners Patrik and Daniel, her adored grandchildren Pia and Tom, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, all her relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Due to current restrictions and HSE advice, Josephine’s Funeral, Mass and cremation will be private to her family and close friends.

Funeral will leave the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, on Monday, arriving at the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan, for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm.   Cathedral will be limited to 25 people. Those who  are paying their respects to Josephine along the route are asked to observe social distancing and keep everyone safe.  Funeral Mass will be followed by cremation.

For those of you who cannot attend the funeral because of the restrictions, you are asked to leave your condolences in the section at the bottom of this page. Josephine’s daughters would like to thank your all for your cooperation and understanding at this time.
