On March 31st 2024, peacefully at Marymount University and Hospice, Josephine (Josie) (née Barry), beloved wife of the late Denis (Dinny), loving mother of Mary, Margaret and Timothy, adored grandmother of Aisling, Christopher, Jonathan, Katelyn and Jessica and great-grandmother of Ava, Madeline, Cian, Meabh, Cliona, Taj, Harvi and Araya. Sadly missed by her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Jack, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces especially Eil and Margaret, extended family in Australia and England, neighbours and friends.

Rest in peace.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Thursday (4th April) from 6pm to 7pm for visitation. Requiem Mass on Friday (5th) at 12 noon at St Mary’s Church, Berrings. Funeral afterwards to St Senan’s Cemetery, Tower.

Josie’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Marymount, especially Dr. Aoife Lowrney, for the care given to Josie in her final days.
