Josephine (Josie) Day
(née Linnane)
Day (née Linnane), Josephine (Josie), (Whitehall, Dublin, formerly of Kinvara, Co. Galway and San Francisco), January 12th 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of all the staff on the Ailbhe Unit in St. Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Mary, Gertrude, Anne, Jane and Carmel, brothers Brendan and Val, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace
Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am, followed by Burial in Confey Cemetery, Leixlip, Co. Kildare. Family flowers only please, Donations, if desired to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
