(née Carrigan)
Josephine (Josie) Heffernan (née Carrigan), Cashel Road, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary & formerly Buffana. Died peacefully in the presence of her heartbroken family in the outstanding care of Mary O'Connor and staff of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home on Sunday 11th February 2024. Predeceased by her husband John, brother Jim, sisters Kitty and Maureen. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Ena, Mary and Siobhain, sons in law Seamus and Niall, grandchildren Ronan, Conor, Maeve and Grainne, sister Mona (Lyons), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence Cashel Road, Killenaule (E41 F430), this Tuesday evening from 4pm to 7.30pm with removal to St. Mary's Church, Killenaule for 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.30am, followed by burial in Moyglass Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed at www.churchcamlive.ie/killenaule
