Josephine (Josie) Kennedy
(née Swords)
Peacefully at Rushmore Nursing Home. Predeceased by all her siblings George, Peter, Pat, Sean, Elsie, May and by her husband John, son Aidan (Australia) and son-in-law Noel (Cork). Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Patricia (Galway), Maria (Cork) and Geraldine (Australia), sons Peter (Australia) and Kieran (U.K.), son-in-law Tommy Keady (Galway), daughters-in-law Lut and Sarah, her loving grandchildren Geraldine, Orla, Gemma, Derek, Kevin, Jenny, Noel, Jake, Sophie, Josephine, Dominic, Molly and Finian, great-grandchildren, Relatives, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Josie's funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 9th June in the Sacred Heart Church, at 11.00 a.m., however following government guidelines regarding public gatherings, this will take place privately. Those who would like to attend but cannot due to the current restrictions are invited to leave their personal messages on the ''condolences'' section below. A memorial service in celebration of her life will take place at a later date. House private please.
