Josephine (Josie) McCrossan  (formerly Wright, née Hevican) Lus Leana, Roscommon town and Birmingham, England. January 30th, 2021; (Peacefully), in the dedicated care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon. Beloved wife of the late Danny McCrossan and dearly loved mother to Willy, Roseanne, John, Philomena and Paul. She will be very sadly missed by her family, her adored grandchildren William, Danielle, Alicia, Shaun, Danny, Sian, C.J., James, James, Patrick and Joseph, her great-grandchildren Lexi, Molly, Mila, Ida, Teddy, Rosa, Henry, Sienna and Vinny, all her sisters and brothers past and present, her nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and also the staff at the Sacred heart Home for their care and kindness to our beloved mother while in their loving care.

May our loving mother rest in peace.


 Please note that in an effort to follow government guidelines and with the support and agreement of the family, Josie’s funeral will take place privately for family only. Her funeral cortege will depart from Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday morning (February 4th) at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c followed by burial in St Coman’s Cemetery.
