Josephine (Josie) McHale

The death has occurred of Josephine (Josie) McHale, Ballyowen, Bracklyn, Killucan, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Killamoyne, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary on the 25th December 2023, peacefully in the tender care of her family and the staff in St. Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents, her sister Sr. Kathleen and brothers Jack and Pat.

Loving mother of Gerard, Pat, Martin, Sean, Roger and Seamus.

Josie will be sadly missed by her sons, brother Timmy (Darcy), daughters in law, her 17 grandchildren, sister in law, her much loved nieces and nephews, Maureen, D.J., Gerard and Timmy (Darcy), extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May Josie's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan, Co. Westmeath (Eircode N91VF51) this Thursday evening from 3pm followed by prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass takes place on Friday morning in St. Livinius Church, Killulagh, Delvin, Co. Westmeath (N91HP66) at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank Josie's carers, especially Hilary, the doctors and nursing staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital and Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar, and St. Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan for their care of Josie. Also her many friends in the Golden Years Club, Killucan and the Friendship Club, Delvin for their many years of enjoyment.
