Josephine (Josie) Oakley (nee Bevans), Clonlisk, Shinrone, Birr, Co. Offaly, died 23rd of Nov 2023, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the staff of Tullamore Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Stephen, brother Michael and deeply regretted by her beloved sons Stephen, Henry, Michael, daughters Geraldine (O'Brien), Carmel (Ormond), daughters in law Eileen and Michelle, sons in law Tom and Peter, grandchildren Aoife, Nikita, Darragh, Donna, Jack, Lauren, Allannah and Brian, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence in Clonlisk (R42 RD36) on Friday 24th of November, from 5pm until 8pm. Reposing on Saturday, 25th of November, in Treacy's Funeral Home, Shinrone (R42 E125) from 5pm until 7pm. Private removal from her residence on Sunday morning to St. Mary's Church, Shinrone (R42 WT26) for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Shinrone. Family flowers only please, donations if desired, in lieu of flowers, to Friends of Tullamore Hospital. If you wish to leave a message of sympathy you may do so in the condolence section below.
