Josephine (Josie) Smith née Connor, Weir Hope, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Ship Street, Drogheda. 12th January 2024. Peacefully at Sunhill Nursing Home, Termonfeckin surrounded by her loving family in her 90th year. Josie, predeceased by her husband Jacko, their infant sons Mark and John and her brothers Kevin and Tom. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Geraldine, sons Pio and Patrick, son-in-law Pius, daughter-in-law Olga, Patrick’s partner Vivienne, grandchildren Karol, Audrey, Jeffrey, Katie, Laura, Rachel and Olivia, great grandchildren Callum, Tyler and Ava, brother Noel, sisters-in-law, also Olive and Tommy, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92XN75) from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock on Sunday afternoon. Removal from her Home on Monday afternoon at 1.40pm arriving to St. Mary’s Church, James Street for Funeral Mass at 2 o’clock which can be viewed live on www.stmarysdrogheda.ie. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to a charity of your choice.
