The death has occurred peacefully at home, of Josephine (Josie), in her 97th year, after a short illness surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Desmond, her parents Michael and Bridget Conway, siblings Hugh, Rosie, Brigid, Margie and Michael.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters Veronica, Siobhan and Sheila, granddaughters Christine and Sarah, son-in-law William, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Special thanks to her Doctor, carers and the team from St Francis for all their support.

Reposing at her residence in Portmarnock, Dublin for family only. Funeral will arrive to St. Annes Church, Portmarnock on Saturday 18th April at 1:30pm followed by removal to Sligo.You can stream by clicking the link below

Reposing at Foley and McGowan’s Funeral Home Market Yard, Sligo (F91YR61) on Monday 20th April at 10:00am with removal at 11:00am to The Cathedral Of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo (F91CF59) arriving at 11:30am for requiem mass followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery.
