Josephine Moran (Née Tiernan) of Skymartin, Eslin, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Cornagher, Cloone, Co. Leitrim, peacefully in the care of the nurses and staff of the Northwest Hospice Sligo, on 13th January 2026.

Pre-deceased by her husband Tommie and her brothers Pat Tiernan, Cornagher, Cloone and Joe Tiernan Streete, Co. Westmeath. Deeply missed by her daughters Anne-Marie Moran, Geraldine Lee and Margaret McNabola, her sisters Mary McDonagh (Dromod) and Annie Reilly (Leganomer, Ballinamore), her son-in-laws Stephen Hegarty, Oliver Lee and David McNabola, her grandchildren Matthew, Ronan, Lorrainne, Laura, Clodagh and Fiona, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Josephine's Rest in Peace

Josephine will repose at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Margaret and David McNabola, Bunnymore, Eslinbridge, (N41 FK24) on Friday 16th of January from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass in St Patrick's church, Mohill at 11am on Saturday 17th of January with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
