Josephine Tighe
(née Murray)
Josephine Tighe (née Murray) (late of Leixlip and Ballyfermot) passed away peacefully in her 99th year on January 21, 2021 in the loving care of the staff at Lucan Lodge Nursing Home; beloved wife of the late Thomas and pre-deceased by her great-granddaughter Elodie. Devoted mother to Bernadette, Geraldine, Declan, Brian, Helen, Liam and Louise. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters, her sisters and brothers Ellen, Annie, Sean and Noel; by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
The cortege will travel to the Church via Easton Road / Green Lane at approximately 9.45 on Monday morning arriving then for a private family funeral which will take place at 10am on Monday morning in The Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip which can also be viewed on the parish website http://www.oln.ie/ with burial afterwards at Palmerstown Cemetery.
