Joshua (Josh) DUFFY

DUFFY, Joshua (Josh) Ballinteer 22nd October 2021 surrounded by his loving family while in the tender care of the exceptional ICU staff at St James’s Hospital.  Adored partner to Louise and most loved and cherished Dad to Liam and Christian, beloved son of Jos and the late Marie, son-in- law to Rosaleen and Jess, stepdad to Paul, dear brother to Julian, Christine and Martha, brother-in-law to Cathy, Darragh, Gerry, Nicola, John, Jane and Keith, uncle to Jonah and Adam, Maisie and Lois, Bobby and Dylan, Evan, Abbie and Zoe. Sorely missed by his wider family, uncles, aunts, cousins and a wonderful group of friends.

He bravely fought a personal battle for a long time, but his family and many friends wish for you to remember him for what he was, even until the end,­ a kind and funny man with a gentle soul.

There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on  Wednesday afternoon (27th October) from 3pm to 5pm.  Josh’s Funeral cortége will be departing his childhood family residence on  Thursday morning at approx. 10.30am to arrive at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer for Funeral Mass at 11am which may be viewed on this link https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-john-the-evangelist-church-ballinteer followed by burial at Bohernabreena Cemetery.
