The death has occurred of Josie Carroll (née) Galligan, Scribblestown, Castleknock and Oldcastle, Co. Meath, 7th February 2026, unexpectedly yet peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Mater Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Bunny and Paddy Galligan. Deeply mourned by her husband Frank, heartbroken sons, Graham (Elaine), Neil (Erika), Stephen (Gillian), her sister and best friend, Brigid, her brothers Peter, John and Phil, grandchildren Max, Noah, Lily, Áron and Zalàn, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends.

Josie’s Funeral Mass will take place in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle (A82 Y437) on Friday morning at 11.00am, followed by burial in local cemetery.
