Josie Doherty, née Tierney, Hillview Drive, Thurles and formerly Blakefield, Gortagarry, Toomevara, Co. Tipperary. In her 90th year. Peacefully after a short illness. In the wonderful care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Martin and brother Tom. Deeply regretted by her loving family; daughters Mary-D (Ryan) and Geraldine (Hassett), sons Liam, Declan and Adrian, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Tom and William, daughters-in-law Maria, Martina and Fiona, sisters Chris (Spillane), Eileen (Tierney) and Breda (Halloran), nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Jane, Bridget and Pam, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday 31st May from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Sunday 1st June at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's cemetery, Thurles.
