Josie Newman, Rathcahill West , Templeglantine, Co. Limerick and Tullylease, Co. Cork, in her 94th year, peacefully in the care of Killeline Care Centre, Newcastle West, surrounded by her family on the 17th of January 2025

Predeceased by her parents, brother and sisters.

Josie will be sadly missed by Bridgie and Betty O’Connor, her sister Philomena, brother Bill, sister-in-law Eleanor, Noel, nieces, nephews, cousins and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Sunday, 19th January from 5.30 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Funeral cortège will depart Josie’s home on Monday, 20th January at 10.30 a.m. to The Church of The Most Holy Trinity Templeglantine to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Reilig na Tríonóide.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Killeline Care Centre, comfort carers, home helps, Homestead, Care Bright and HSE staff for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Josie in the last number of years.
