Josie O'Brien
(née Harris)
It is with great sadness we announce the death on January 23rd 2022 of Josie O' Brien [née Harris] of Walled Gardens, Celbridge, Co. Kildare. Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital, surrounded by her heartbroken daughters, after a short illness bravely borne. Beloved wife of the late David (Mockey) and dearly missed, amazing mother of Siobhan, Dolores and Tracey. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sons-in-law Mark, Tom and Rory, her seven cherished and adored grandchildren Saoirse, Conall, Senan, Amie, Jay, Maeve and Avril. Missed and loved by her best friend and sister Helen. Her mother Kathleen and dear brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, much loved dear friend of Gabriel and her wide circle of friends and colleagues.
May Josie's gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at her home on Tuesday evening (25th. January) from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. House private at all other times. Removal by Cunningham's Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning at 9.40am to St. Patrick's Church, Celbridge arriving for 10.00am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the Donacomper Cemetery.
Josie's daughters would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff of Tallaght University Hospital for their kindness, compassion and care that Josie received.
