Josie Shannon
(née Kinsella)
Josie Shannon died February 6th 2018 (unexpectedly) at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, in her 95th year, formerly of Coolamain, Oylegate, Co. Wexford.
Widow of Peter and much loved mother of Tony, Jo, Pat and the late Alice and adored Nana of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Sylvia and Joanna, sister-in-law Bridget, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home on Thursday from 3pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in the Church of the Holy Family, Askea. Burial afterwards in Oylegate Cemetery, Co. Wexford arriving at 2pm approx.
Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu to Carlow Day Care Centre, Askea or Alzheimer Society, Bethany House, Carlow.
House private on Friday morning, please.
