(née Treacy)
Josie Whelan (née Treacy), Park View Avenue West, Templemore, and late of Longfordwood, Clonakenny, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, 29th of June 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of University Hospital Limerick.
Predeceased by her parents Maude and Denis and nephew Declan.
Deeply regretted by her devoted husband Michael, daughter Irene, son Michael, son in law Brian, daughter in law Edel, grandchildren Lorraine, Kieran, Ben and Sam, sisters Mary Doyle (Thurles) and Una Dunne (Clonakenny), brothers Jim (Clonakenny), Billy (Two mile borris) and Pat (Roscrea) sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
May Josie’s gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore (e41 tr83) this Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday in the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore at 12 noon. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery afterwards.
