The death has occurred of Julia Faherty, aged 96, Lower Oatquarter, Kilronan, Inis Mór, Aran Islands, Co Galway and formerly of Inis Oirr.
Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of U.H.G.
Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas, daughters Mary and Rita, her grandchild Bernice, her brothers Coley, Mickey, John, Máirtín, and her sister Mary Ann. Sadly missed by her loving family Kathleen, Julia, Annie, Gerard, Sarah, Bernadette, Tomas, John Joe, Michael Anthony and Christina, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Her funeral cortege will leave Galway on Wednesday 13th April to arrive at Rossaveal Pier for the 6pm sailing to Inis Mór. Reposing at her home Wednesday night with rosary at 10 pm. Funeral Mass at 1pm on Holy Thursday at Oughill Church, burial afterwards to Kileanny cemetery.
