It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Julia McCarthy (née Kelly), Park, Galbally, Co. Limerick. Julia passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick on Tuesday, 30th December 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her husband Tim, her loving parents Mickey and Catherine, sister Annie, brother-in-law Jack and son-in-law Jimmy.

 

Julia will be dearly missed by her loving children Mary, Timmy, Mike, Pat, Anthony, Imelda and Anne, their partners Michael, Cindy, Máire, Gráinne and Peter, her grandchildren Sarah, Billy, Cian, Éadaoin, Fionn, Seán, James, Elan, Lea, Sadhbh, Síofra, Cormac, Clíona, Émer, Tadhg, Ciara and Aoife, her great-grandchildren Éabha, AJ, Mason and Rían, niece Elizabeth, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose in the Chapel of Peace, Fraser's Funeral Home, Galbally on Friday 2nd of January from 5 to 7pm followed by Evening Prayers. Reception on Saturday 3rd of January into Church of Christ the King, Galbally for Requiem Mass at 11 30am followed by burial in the local cemetery.
