Julia O'Donovan
(née McCarthy)
O’DONOVAN (Knocknanuss, formerly of Ahaliskey, Ballinascarthy): on June 17th 2023 peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. JULIA (nee McCarthy) beloved wife of the late Matt, much loved mother of Norma (Brennan), Teddy, Kathleen (Brennan), Matthew, Gerard, Dan, MaryRose (Hurley), Joan (White) and Margaret (Griffin), sister of the late Mary (O’Mahony, Mealisheen, Leap). Lovingly remembered by her family, sons-in-law Eugene, Padráig, James, Noel and Joe, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Ann, Catherine and Mary, her 28 adored grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, wonderful carers, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Sunday, June 18th 2023 from 5pm to 8pm with Prayers at 7.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, June 19th 2023 at 12 noon in St. Moluada’s Church, Clogagh. Funeral afterwards to St. Mologa’s Cemetery, Timoleague.
