Julia O'Sullivan

O'Sullivan (Newcestown) on March 5th 2026, peacefully at her daughter's residence. Julia (nee O'Driscoll), beloved wife of the late Dick and dear mother of Aileen (Walsh), Richard, Conor, Caroline (Ryan) and Jim, adored grandmother of Julie, Eabha, Olan, Ciara, Cormac, Karen, Aoife, Bronagh, Conor, Euan, Charlie, Doireann, Harry, Seamus, Richard, Tadg, Keelin and the late Robyn and Louise, and great-grandmother of Heidi. Predeceased by her brothers Jerome, Chris, Leo and sister Mary.

 

Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Margaret McCarthy, sons-in-law Andrew and David, daughters-in-law Jackie, Dolores and Lisa, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sister-in-law Philomena (Hurley), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

 

Julia will be lying in repose at her daughter's residence in Newcestown (eircode P72YE36) on Sunday from 4pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. John the Baptist Church, Newcestown which will be livestreamed on the Murragh and Templemartin Parish Facebook page, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
