Julie Connell (Connolly) née Duffy, Athenry, Monivea, Newcastle and No. 1 Ballybane Cottages, Ballybane, Co.Galway.
On Thursday, January 30th, 2025, Julie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband, family and in the care of the wonderful staff of Brooklodge Nursing Home, Ballyglunin.
Predeceased by her parents Dominick and Nora Duffy, her husband Padraic Connolly, her brothers PJ, Sonny and Christy.
Julie will be cherished forever by her husband, Michael (Sonny) Connell, her loving children Marian, Patrick, Alan, Gillian and Damien, and her brother and sisters Claire, Angela, Teddy, Chrissie, Anne and their families. Fondly remembered by her sons in-law, daughters in-law, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Our Lady’s Chapel, Lackagh, Turloughmore, County Galway (H65 N129) on Monday February 3rd from 5.30pm. Removal at 7pm to adjoining Church. Funeral Mass celebrating Julie’s life will take place on Tuesday 4th February at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired to a charity of your choice in memory of Julie’s life.
